.38 Colt DA USN

Any of you fellas know which is which for the serial number on a .38 Colt DA USN? The numbers I see are on the butt. One reads "No. 11,9xx" and the other is six digits 112 over xxx.

Gun Writer Mike Venturino has passed away.

The only reason I bought Handloader magazine was to read his articles.

Re: OOPS

You are a brave lad for admitting to an oopsy. I would never start loading a case without sizing the my 7.5. Re: Krags in the Movies

This is a rousing tale of war time France 1918. The ageless story of two men after the same girl. We! We! Marie! stars the great Slim Summerville of All Quiet on the Western Front fame. This is a classic pre-code howler. Lots of Krags in the movie, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNvp9WFAwNU .

Re: Hornaday Interlock 220 grain bullet Sale

Since I shoot Hornady 220s in my Match load for my Krag... I'm always on the hunt for bullets! FWIW, Hornady used to make a FMJ 220 gr RN bullet, and I was given a box of these around 15 years ago. They were hands-down the most accurate bullet I ever shot in my Krag! I wish Hornady would make these...

Re: Factory loaded ammunition

I can remember back in grade school making "Matchstick Rockets." We would fashion a paper clip to hold a match upright, Then, wrap a match head in foil (usually from chewing gum) and using a pin, create a nozzle at the bottom. Then, when lit, they would shoot up into the air to the deligh...
