Well, it may not be that much of a mystery.<br />After WW II there was a severe shortage of sporting rifles in Norway (our German "guests" had seized nearly all hunting weapons during the war) and the Kongsberg armoury made som small series of Krag rifles converted for hunting in calibre 8...
