I gotta get me one of these. Im a sucker for a Mauser. I just picked up an 1891 Argentine Mauser a couple of weeks ago. Sweet rifle in a caliber I already load for.

Great Pistol, Paul. Congrats. It seems like a lot of the CMP 1911s were in pretty good condition, but this one looks especially, remark or not.

Im with you on the no safe queens rule. We need photos of the targets as soon as you take it out.
