I also mounted a Redfield 102K on a sporterized Krag but, with mine I had to modify the magazine cutoff(an after market) switch to get it to work properly. In some of the pictures her3e it appears they haven't had to do this modification? Can anyone explain this to me?

Not wanting any holes drilled in my receiver I bought a scout scope base some time back goes into the rears sight screw holes and mount forward of the bolt somewhat/

1901 sights?
On my 1898 with a 1901 rear sight on it, there are marking along the left side of sight base grasduating from (1)100, (2)200, (3)300 but, the next one iseems to be a (4B) for 400 yards? Is this correct?
