Re: Hornaday Interlock 220 grain bullet Sale

I spoke to someone at Hornady who offered to “pass along” the idea to their sales and product development team. I didn’t really get an impression on whether it was something they were or might be interested in. It might be a good idea for us to talk to the Hornady people at Camp Perry and see if we ...

Re: Hornaday Interlock 220 grain bullet Sale

I bought 1500 FMJ 220 grain RN bullets several years ago from a guy on the CMP forum. At the time I didn’t even own Krag but I knew what they were for. I also didn’t realize how rare(?) they were and I only bought them because the price was right. I’m assuming the ones I purchased were either surplu...

Re: Hornaday Interlock 220 grain bullet Sale

I went back and checked this link again. The ad actually said the bullets were “new” so they may not actually be pulled. I ordered the last 2 bags they showed in stock (500 projectiles) so I guess I’ll see. Meterman, do you see any pull marks on the bullets you received? I don’t see any in the pictu...

Re: PMs Stuck In Outbox?

BR,

I received your test PM and sent a reply. I still see my two previous PM's sitting in my Outbox however, based on your previous post, I guess that's normal until they're opened by the recipients.

PMs Stuck In Outbox?

Anyone else having issues sending PMs where they seem to be stuck in your Outbox? I rarely use the PM function here but tried to send a couple today and I show 2 messages in my Outbox and none in my sent.

Any suggestions on how to fix that?

Re: 71

Mr. Hosmer, I've looked at these rifles as well but I don't currently own one. I have a friend who (I think) has a pair of them. I'm still considering a TD at the National Matches. I have an M1888 ramrod bayonet rifle (made in 1891) that looks brand new and I just picked up a 405 grain cupped bullet...

Re: Hornaday Interlock 220 grain bullet Sale

I just used ammoseek to find these same bullets last week and bought 250 from Arms or Ally. Arms or Ally (no affiliation) seemed to have the best prices for new production bullets (at least they did last week) if you bought in bulk even with a small shipping charge. A quick google search of American...

Re: Krag Carbine Front Sight Base Location?

Whig,

Perfect! Thanks for the help.

I passed the info to my buddy doing the work so we'll see how it turns out. Frankly, I doubt there are many people around that are capable if replicating the seamless appearance between the sight base and the barrel dovetail.

Re: Looking for a sporterized stock

Cat Man, I remember you very well :-) You were a big help, along with Paul and all the other guys, helping me learn to shoot CMP Vintage matches. I now buy Turner match slings for every rifle I shoot in vintage matches and had an extra one so I put it on my sisters rifle. I think it's probably a lit...
