You must be joking to think that your Krag collection is "complete". Ha! They are addicting. Ask many of us!

That's neat. It would be nicer if the serial number was on it and maybe the documentation could eventually be rejoined with the rifle. Same thing Butlersrangers found.

Hope it works out for you at a good price. Hopefully, it is not cracked. Cracked ones can be fixed but it can be touchy.

Here's your problem: There are too many empty rack spaces. You desperately need a bunch of Krag rifles to fill those spots! I do like to see the humidity in the low 40s. That's what I keep mine at. Great news. You're in good hands! Oh, and make sure the firing pin is there. That was the only thing I needed for mine when I got it. Keep us posted.

I referred to op's TD as a Model 1884 solely because the SN of his rifle 434153 is listed in the SRS records as an "84R". That's why Dick needs to comment.
