<r>Just read this thread, I just happen to have a bolt with a visible crack. A gunsmith friend gave me a cut down rifle. Upon inspection of the bolt this is what I found. Thanks Butlersrangers for the confirmation on both being in a known carbine block of serial numbers. I knew about the rear sight being worth 400 or more from your postings here. When I realized the rear sight was an original carbine sight it was a no brainer to purchase this one.
