On my last trip to Maine 2 weeks ago I stopped in the Kittery Trading Post to stretch my legs.

Figured I check the ammo out.

They had winchester 9mm 12 boxes I bought 5 and low and behold on the bottom shelf was 10 boxes 30-40.

They always seem to have it just like LL Bean.

Thought I'd post this in case anyone is interested.

What's the date for this?

You'd need a pistol that looks like this one to shoot 30-40 Krag ammo out of, wouldn't you??

I dang near choked on my coffee when I saw this! LOL

Maybe I was dreaming but a few years ago I thought I read an article about 3040 Krag Ammo being used in a pistol for cowboy shoots?

I swear I saw that someplace a few years ago?

A buddy of mine was over on property that we hunt and messaged me after he was done to bring over my grandfathers old 30-40 over.

I did and we had a blast! :)
