You can use jacked bullets but it is best to use a slow burning power. Go to the web pages of the bullets you wish to buy and you can get the correct power loads. Start at the lowest and work your way up. Do not go over the top load. I am using IMR 4350,

I got 80 rounds of remington 30 40 krag in Twin Falls, ID. The store has 80 rounds of winchester 30 40 krag left. It pays to look in small stores as the big stores are all sold out.

Go to Nosler bullets on the internet they give updated power loads for the 30 40 that might help.

I am a new member also just joined a week ago. Lots on good people here and they are very helpful.

I have one just like it but had to add a reproduction buckle. I don't know what year they went to blue.

I will be willing to buy either ammo or brass if we can find someone to make it.
