Re: Norwegian Krag safe with PRVI Partisan SPBT?
If your gun is in good shape and the head space is not too long the PPU 139 gr should be fine. It is decent brass so save it and reload it. Norwegian Krags tend to be on the long side of spec but if it is in spec it should be OK.

Re: KRAG BRASS
I will be interested to hear how others who get this brass find it compares to the Winchester and Remington that we have had for a long time. How much others are finding they change their pet loads to accommodate for the differences in the brass.
I ran 50 cases through the FL dies today just t...

Maybe they had more coming and just sold out (faster than they probably anticipated) before more arrived. If so, then this may just be the answer to everyone's prayers and Krag brass will no longer be a problem like it has for the last several years! I sure hope it keeps coming...
<...

Re: KRAG BRASS
OK. Thanks parashooter. I appreciate the help.
I have tried to reply to your information in this threads about 10 times but my chrome browser keeps crashing. I have a few more questions about this but I am giving up for now. Tired of typing questions over and over again only to have the browse...

Re: KRAG BRASS
Since you ask for comments, I have to say this perhaps shows a misunderstanding of case-stretch dynamics. In brief, unless the shoulder is far enough forward to hold the base of the cartridge firmly against the bolt face, shoulder position is immaterial to stretch with a rimmed cart...

Hopefully that extra weight equals a nice sturdy case that will take many reloads!

Yes. I was thinking that too. In theory, The fact that since it is just brass for reloading and not manufactured ammo they seem to be made a bit tight in the Wilson case gauge...

Re: Group buy of .30-40 brass by the forum members
I got my shipping confirm the other day so I know I got mine. If they did this run maybe they will do another. Now that they see people really do want the stuff. Maybe they wanted to see how it went and what the feedback would be?
It sold out in less than a week. Now lets see what it is like.

Interesting that there's no photo, LOL! I'll bet it is that Graf brass, although the current bid is the same price Grafs was selling it for. I'm betting that they expect the bids to rise dramatically!

No picture because it probably hasn't even arrived ...
