Where are you located? I know of an excellent gunsmith located in New Hampshier.

I recently acquired what appears to be a Phillipine Constabulary Carbine. According to Brophy's book, the barrel length is correct, the muzzle is turned down, there's a faint JFC inspector's stamp. Does anyone know if there's a way to check a serial number range for authenticity?
