Yep, that's them.

I'll play with them a bit but I won't be looking for more anytime soon!

I'm going to start casting and Hi-Tek coating 55gn .22 pills for .223 soon. Maybe I'll pick up a spitzer mold in .309 as well. I had a .311 round nose mold for .303 brit but I sold it with...

Re: H335 and the 30-40 Krag: GTG?

Jut in case anybody cares:

I hit the range with the test loads yesterday. They functioned fine, even felt a little underpowered. The accuracy was less than stellar. At 100 yards, I got no discernible group with them. I fired 10 rounds of Core-Lokt factory ammo and got a nice group so ther...

H335 and the 30-40 Krag: GTG?

Has anyone used H335 for their Krag?

I found several online data sheets for the 30-40 that listed H335 loads. None of my hard copy manuals list it as a viable option.

Most of the data I found start at 30-33 gn for the 180-200 gn spitzer jacketed bullets.

I loaded 10...

The blade it's self measures .383" but from the bottom of the "channel" to the top of the blade is .409".

Re: 1901(I think) Springer Model 1898, sporterized.

The front sight on the rifle has a bead at the apex so I doubt it's been filed down. Then again, I'm a complete tyro with the Krags so what do I know? :)

According to your pic, the top wood on this stick is the 1898/1902 R&C

Thanks for the help. I'm not going to worry if I ...

Re: 1901(I think) Springer Model 1895, sporterized.

I found this http://www.bowersweapons.com/SA%20US%20KRAG%20serial%20numbers.htm
It shows my rifle to be manufactured in 1901. Any input on this being accurate?
