Danish Krag follower question

Hello,
I have a Danish Krag that was missing follower assembly that I purchased from Numrich. Cannot seem to assemble properly. Does anyone have or know where to look for a decent schematic/diagram? The only one I found was a hand drawn via google search. Thank you, Mike.

Re: Krag Carbine

I went back to check again and it is in fact an 1899 with a 322xxx serial The shop owner contacted some "auction house" about authentication and supposedly threaded barrels were added for some purpose (suppressors???). Seems like a stretch , so I am passing as the owner will be looking for...

Re: Krag Carbine

Thanks for the replies, very helpful. I am having trouble adding photos, will keep trying. Per shop owner the rifle was made in 1902. The barrel length, front sight and rear sight description match. The serial # seems high. I am leaning towards passing anyway, but these sorts of discussion make for ...

Krag Carbine

Looking at a 1896 Krag Carbine at a local shop that looks to be in great shape but I am suspicious. THe main issue is a threaded barrel from end to front sight (about 3/4 inch). Shop owner insist such a mod was done at arsenal or early on in its life. In other words he refuses to acknowledge that a ...
