Lyman No. 25 sight for Krag?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120527373721&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

This is a new one for me. Stroebel's book says the No. 25 is for the Lee Navy 6mm.

Anyone familiar with this sight?

WTB fancy sporter Krags

Looking for high grade American, Norwegian and Danish Krag sporting rifles, especially classics 1900-1950.

Re: 1916 Krag 7mm

a Nor Krag could be rebarrled or rebored to 7x57 I suppose but collector value is destroyed, is just a sporterized military now. Am not sure a rebore would be a good idea though because base diameter of 6.5x55 is bigger than 7x57, rebarrel would be OK.

Re: Norwegian Krag Question

Would probably rebore to 7x57, factory ammo is still low pressure enough to be safe

Re: Unusual Danish Krag?

Tom

Looks like any other Danish Krag except for odd barrel. Forend cut short to sporter length, otherwise unaltered. Have never shot it, don't plan to, might make it into a 45-70.
