Re: inspectors mark
<r>Sorry I did not get back sooner. The date on this rifle is 1896. I removed the stock and found these markings where you said they would be.<IMG src="https://kragcollectorsassociation.org/kca/phpBB3/images/yabbfiles/Attachments/MVC-021S_001.JPG"><s>[img]</s><URL url="https://kragcollectorsassociat...

Wow! I had no idea they were so expensive. They would be great to have but I will pass. Thanks for the info.

Springfield Service Records
Are the Springfield Service Records available to buy either in book form or cd? Also what years are covered in these records? I have seen civil war carbines listed on other sites with the same type information.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Serial number hit or miss?
I checked the serial number of my Father in laws "sporter" Krag that he has hunted with for years. The number is 212,304 model 1898. Is this one a hit? Thanks, Wes

Re: Michigan Antique Arms Collectors Show
I will have a table at the show Friday and Sat. I will bring my Carbine along. There are a couple markings that I would like to identify. I tried to post photos but they were too large. I hope you can help me. Wes
