The barrel is right at 22 inches. The contour is different from my 03-A3 sporter, so not sure what it is from

<r>Just picked up a sporterized 1896 carbine serial number 29141. Date stamped 1895. Sadly it was nicely altered around the 1930's with a Marbles buckhorn rear sight, a new front sight dove tailed in and a clean new stock...yay for them ;-( . Does anyone know if that serial number comes up anywhere ...
