In the late nintenfiftis som 3000 M94 vere converted to .22lr from used rifles and parts. The barels were driled exsentric so that the cartirge lined upp betwin the extractor and firing pin.

Hi<br />Back in 1894 the 6,5x55 were developt for combined millitery of Sweden/Norway and the pressurestandars were set to 3500 bar.<br />Later (1967) the Norwegian rifleasosiasjen(DFS) lowerd the max presure for Kragammo to 3300 bar, and the CIP standard for 6,5x55 is incresed to 3800 bar. KV did convert som 3000 krags to .22lr in the late 50`s. thise rifles vere first used for army training and later handed to DFS.

You are corect in asuming thise parts are norwegian. The holdback pin is itegral in the flange on the righ side of the extractor, the reshaped claws migt be from .22 converts.

The krag was designed for a 3500 bar load, however later recommended to max 3300bar. Modern ammo is loaded from ca 2500 bar(6,5g bullet @ 800ms) to 3800 bar (9g bullet @850ms). you should never fire a 3800 bar load in a krag.
