Krag Palma Barrel?
Regarding the Pope manufactured Krag Palma barrel... Does anyone have one? Has anyone ever seen one in person? - If so how does the outer dimensions compare to a standard issue USGI barrel? Has anyone ever shot a rifle barreled with one? Any details are appreciated. My interest stems from a desire t...

Re: Harder Cast Bullets
I purchased some 311332 bullets with gas checks from The Bull Shop that were advertised at 20 BNH. Using a load of 2400, they shot very well, although the bullets physical makeup did not make it conducive to loading from the rifle's magazine. Off of a rest I could manage just over 1.25 MOA. I tried ...

Re: Camp Perry 2022
The Roosevelt match was held at this year's DDay Match at Talladega back in June. I see the CMP has the dates for 2023 posted, but not the match program. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they hold the Roosevelt match.

Re: Camp Perry 2022
Hopefully I will be able to make the Mosin Clips work, otherwise I guess I'll have to get better at the "scoop up the ammo" loading method. Either way, 80 seconds is quite a long time provided one does not screw up the reload. I am having pretty good success using cast loads in one of my K...

Re: Camp Perry 2022
Outstanding. I could almost smell the spent powder!
Do you make the chargers, or can you supply info on who does. I have tried the scoop trick, but it leaves a lot of room for error. I was considering using a Russian Mosin stripper clip, but your charger looks more reliable.
Thanks for posting!

Re: Best Bullet for Match Shooting (Not a 30-40 Question)
69gr and 80gr bullets were the go to bullets when I started shooting the A2 across the course. The 69's were used at 200/300 loaded to magazine length, and the 80's at 600 loaded to fit the rifle, and not at magazine length. The 77gr bullet was a compromise that allowed the competitor to use the sam...

Re: Camp Perry 2022
Work schedule didn't work out for me this year so I won't be making the trek to Camp Perry for the games. I would appreciate some video of you shooting the Krag in the rapid fire portion of the Roosevelt Match. I would like to see your procedure and hopefully pick up a few pointers on how to do it. ...

Wide front sight blade?
Older eyes and the razor blade thin front sight blade of the Krag are not a good combination. Does anyone know if a wide front sight blade, similar to the USMC type used on M1903's has ever been manufactured for the Krag? Thank you!
