Wow Whig!!! That’s an amazing looking collection of Carbines and a couple lonely looking Rifles in their midst.

I sent you a PM yesterday as well asking if you could help check my 1903 Krags serial number in SRS. Thank you!

Re: I got very lucky at a local military collector show today!

I’m really happy that I found these because they directly go with the 1903 dated rifle I got last week 8-)

And just two tables down was an origi...

Re: My 2nd Krag - May 1903 Rifle in 1900 Stock

If butlersrangers assumption is correct I may already have a .22 cal Gallery practice rifle, at least the stock😂

This is from the post he did on my JFC stamp on my 1902 Krag Rifle;

Re: My 2nd Krag - May 1903 Rifle in 1900 Stock

Well I’m holding hard on my modest collection of just six rare and hard to find M1 Carbines, and just three very nice M1 Garands, and 3 rare Springfield M1903s, and four rare Finn Mosins, and one nice M1917, and a Vet bring back Type 38 Arisaka, and my new 1884 Trapdoor that was issued to a Spanish-...

Re: My 2nd Krag - Late 1903 Rifle in 1900 Stock

Thank you. I thought that may be how it went but I wanted to make sure I didn’t do something wrong the first time trying to flip it up. Wow that’s a tiny peep hole for sighting!!! And is the platinum line on this 1902 Krag rear site what they used for the idea of the platinum line that was initially...

How does the flip up peep plate work? I’m afraid to push hard on it don’t wanna break or bend it.
