IMR lists 36 grains as max with a 150 grain bullet and Hornady lists the 150 spire point and the 155 A-MAX data as interchangeable.

<r>Hit and miss yesterday got my first 98 Krag. Pretty much got the gun for free which is good because the barrel is not too good, but the sight is nearly perfect. Case hardening
Has anybody tried to reharden a receiver and bolt? I am a full time knife maker and harden things every day. Color case hardening on one would be amazing.

I am new here, but I do a lot of work with wood. If you can do a really good job of degreasing the stock and can figure a way to clamp the stock together to minimize the visibility of the cracks you can float a super thin cyanoacrylate into the cracks and make them nearly invisible. the repair will ...
