Thank you very much, Parashooter. That was a really neat site and allowed me to know more about my rifle. I appreciate all your help.

Re: Swiss K11 or K1911 mystery.

<r>Hello,

As an addendum I found this tag under the buttplate.
It means that Mr. Heinrich Sigrist who was born in 1908 stationed in Obfelden in the 1st Fsilier Kompagnie of the 184th battalion was issued the rifle that I bought. The history on these old girls is really something spec...

Re: FN 49 and 8MM Mauser.

Thanks guys!

I know she has an adjustable gas block that's hidden under the upper and I have been told to start off and then work it open in small increments until she functions properly with the specific load. Hello everyone,

I have finally started reloading and getting everything squared away with my workbench. Re: Grandpa's Krag Carbine.

Thanks again for the suggestions on which trimmer to buy! Unfortunately I fell the other day and separated my AC joint near my clavicle and shoulder on my dominant side. For about a week or so I'm in a sling and not allowed to have any fun. Once I'm free to work again I'll build the table and post s...

Re: Grandpa's Krag Carbine.

Okay, you guys are an awful influence. Haha! ;D I drove out to Cabela's, and hour an a half, and since I drove all that way I wasn't going to leave empty handed! I picked up the Hornady Classic Kit, which comes with a Hornady manual and pretty much everything to get stated. I also picked up the Lyma...

Re: Grandpa's Krag Carbine.

You all have suck an awesome wealth of knowledge! Thank you so very much.

Are Hornady presses any good? I was thinking of jetting over into PA to hit up my local Cabella's and I think they carry Hornady presses on the floor. Unfortunately the People's Rupublic of New Jersey deems firearms...
