Thanks-appreciate your suggestions. I did follow those directions, but never got a response.
Only left with a Poyer book and some new R-P brass at this point. More interest in pistol and clays.
Haven't shot any of my rifles in years.
Best wishes,

Thanks for your responses
Will try more detailed photos-
I bought it because it looked nice--no idea of its history. Been in the safe for years and never shot it. Appreciate your help with identification.

Re: Value of a pristine 1899 Carbine?
After a lot of consideration, I have decided to sell this rifle--but I do not know how to price it. Any suggestions on what it is worth?

Re: Value of a pristine 1899 Carbine?
I am anxious for your thoughts on the carbine. I know my photo quality can use some improvement. I am getting an error message regarding the size. Even when I go with only 1 attachment, it errs as too large. Not sure how to reset my camera.
Many thanks-

Re: Value of a pristine 1899 Carbine?
Thanks to all for your responses. I appreciate your comments and understand that pristine is a poor description. I know that pictures would help with identification. I will take some and attempt to post. It is entirely possible that the previous owner may have refinished the wood and/or metal since ...
