Re: Stock trade

I have a cut down issue stock. Any interest in that or are you looking for a sporter stock?

Military or aftermarket sporter stocks considered.

Stock trade

I picked up a 98 sporterized Krag recently with a high cheek piece which would be better off on a scoped rifle. I makes shooting with receiver sights difficult. Anyone need a high cheek pieced stock and has a lower one they would be willing to trade? Can't seem to include pics. E-mail for pics m4060...

Re: Sporterized 1899 Rem.Lee

No provision for fore arm screw as it has the original military barrel that used bands. Tape sounds like a good idea.

Sporterized 1899 Rem.Lee

Just picked up a sporterized Remington Lee 30-40.Noticed there is no screw holding the barrel down in the fore arm,is it ok to shoot it like this ? Will only be shooting mild cast loads.

Norwegian Krag 308

In an old Rifleman mag.(July 1960) there is a ad selling Norwegian Krags re barreled to 308 win. They call it the Globe-777.Has anybody here ever seen one of these? Would they be safe to shoot?
