We do quite a bit of baited bear hunting in my area in northern Maine. Any .30 caliber will work fine. Shots are short but almost always in low light conditions, so that should be your first consideration. Truly a gorgeous example there, the Canadian home guard purchased rifles seem mostly unaffected by the numerous American rebuild programs. Yes, office suite was standard on XP back in the day, but a $300 add on to my version 8.1 which I don't need in retirement
