$1200-1300m value. Currently, it would appear, that a "CMP" documentation doubles its value. Not in my book.

I never follow any CMP auctions because of prices but this is a wonderful Krag rifle all around. Not worth that price though. Maybe $1200-1300 depending on bore condition. Nice cartouche.

I give him a lot of credit for not only making it through this ordeal but to make a video to help us be more cautious and aware of these potential injuries. He sure has the scars from this he'll keep with him the rest of his life. Wow!

Are you asking theoretically since the 6.5mm cartridge is close to .25 caliber compared to the .30-40 Krag round? Thinking or re-barreling the Krag rifle? The original military 6.5x55 bullet was 156 grains compared to the .30 US at 200 grains. I don't know of a head-to-head comparison since the acti...
