Re: accurate 4350
If you go back a few years or more, IMR powders were all made in Canada. If the price was OK, I would buy it.

A left-handed Krag?

On the July 1995 issue, the cover was a part of the Frederick Remington painting of the Rough Riders' charge up San Juan Hill. In the September 1995 issue, there is a Letter to the Editor and several follow-up letters concern...

Re: Fakery & Reproduction - where is the line?
With parts like the rare sights from S&S, there could be a small mark added on the bottom of the base. If I made them, I would so mark them.

But that is far from the only part or practice that may well cross the line. Take a look at the practices of those who "restore" Winch...

Re: What have I got?

Just an 'up-date' - The 1944 "Stomperud" for sale on GunBroker (by 'gray blanket') sold for $1,650.

Seems my WAG, that it would mysteriously sell for $1,875 was a bit overly exaggerated.

FWIW - There are a lot of Krag models I would rather have for that ki...

Re: Krag ammunition and Head spaces
Somewhere along the line of links, someone mentioned that Buffalo Arms would sell individual (or a few) unfired empty cases for the 8x58R Danish. I know that they do sell samples of empty, unprimed cases because I have purchased them in another caliber. So buy a few of each .060 and .070 and see whi...

Re: lyman 310 reloading tool
There is an establishment (maybe in a basement or garage) called "The 310 Shop", selling used dies & parts, and also, IIRC, new dies.

Re: lyman 310 reloading tool
Bought mine just like that in 1965, when I was just out of the USN & going to college. I still use it. But my first powder was HiVel #2.

Re: Springfield Armory model 1898 target rifle
Both are strange enough that I would spring for them and all the leather if the price was right.
But those cartridges will be corroded to the point of being dangerous if they are kept in the cartridge belts.
