Based on what I saw in the full sized pics in the first post, I'd say both were cut down rifles rather than true carbines. The longer of the two definitely has a replacement front sight... Just my opinion...

As far as I know, it has only been possessed by 4 people, including myself. It might have had a few hands before making it's way to France, but since then, just 4.
