It is not easy to avoid buying chinese made goods. That stuff is all over this country. Most of it is inferior quality. Some of it is downright dangerous. What butlers rangers says. The 1907 is the better sling if you are going to use it for standing , kneeling, or prone shooting. It really doesn't look out of place on a Krag.

That rod bayonet 03 and Krag school rifle are nice looking. I guess most of those are behind glass and not out in the wild.
