Re: Needing advise…is it or isn’t it?

BR — I purchased my stocks from Prestigious Wood Stocks for the Krag rifles. Here is my honest feedback and experience: 1. DO NOT buy the stock off the Prestige website — the prices seem to change frequently and I feel it gives you a false sense of getting a deal. Instead shop the same Prestigious W...

Re: Camp Perry 2023

Day 1 - Modern Rifle I’m not sure what happened to my zero (Fulton Armory FAR15A2), but I was very low — my first CMP event and hopefully my worst score ever  IMG_1547.jpeg Additional photos and video - I included the full scope videos of my line partner who was shooting an M1 Garand: https://...

Re: Camp Perry 2023

I met up with Paul and his son today 😀. Having Paul with you really expedites the process (he managed to clear everyone out the registration building to speed up the process  ) — he’s very well known by the CMP staff! I think we had over a dozen rifles inspected for the event between the three ...

Re: 1943 Inland M1 Carbine

It is a bit better, although certainly not a precision rifle. I had a paper target at 100 Yards and steel at 200 and 300 yards. While the M1 Carbine can reach 300 yards, it did not hit the 300 yard steel with the authority of 30-06 or 8mm Mauser. I would feel a whole more confident with it at a maxi...

Re: 1943 Inland M1 Carbine

I hear you, but I was actually off paper at 100 yards too. I had to move over the sight 1/16” — that just happens to be flush with the end of the dovetail. This should put me pretty close… I can adjust a bit from there.

Re: Strange Krag and M1903 Stock Modifications

This is pretty neat — is there other photos or modern videos of a restored machine in use — i take it that it punches holes in a paper target?
