Re: Repro Kerr sling.
My personal favorite is a nicely crafted leather 1907 sling!
However, I have/had numerous Kerr slings (original & reproduction) and like them very much! They are easy to install, adjust and look good on period correct firearms. I've also found them to be very durable and robust.

Re: Request for help with markings
The blade seems to be very similar to the Belgium M1916-35 sword bayonet.
Below is a link to Worldbayonets.com which is an excellent source for bayonet information:

Damn those insolent Canadian drug cartels!
What we need is to establish a ruthless special ops northern border patrol group to deal with those nefarious Canadian coyotes!...and we'll call this group "Butler's Rangers!" Eh!

Re: "Death Hunt" -1981 movie
Yes I agree, Lee Marvin's Stormy Kromer hat is quite impressive...just like the one I have!
Of course the scene where Charles Bronson leaps from the wreckage of his blown up cabin with his shotgun a blazing is pretty impressive as well!

As a former police officer, I wonder if eBay has their own police force? Maybe I can apply for a job and get my own stinking eBay deputy badge!
