That would be a pretty simple project in the machine shop.
Use brass screws to hold it on the barrel and dont worry with the leather.

I have one exactly like that but for the Krag.
The label isnt near as nice.
Ill try to get some pictures up...but thats pretty much why it looks like.

FWIW - Larceny being what it is, I imagine "missing & lost arms" got documented. Some of these arms are listed in SRS Data.



So walking off with a carbine would be enough of a reason to, say, be court martialled? ;)
