That is a beautiful Carbine! Looks to be in great condition too. You should check to make certain it's not loaded... considering that it's cocked.

I totally agree with you Dick... If my family had been killed, I would never even have involved with the show! I think it's more that the prop guys weren't worried about authenticity! It wouldn't have been the first time... Many shows back then were for more entertainment value than anything else. <...

I'll try to remove them... I know that there is a reasonably priced weaver mount that attaches with the original sight screw holes. Thanks for the info!
