If someone could please check the following Model 1896 Krag serial numbers in the SRS database, I would appreciate it. Just curious if either one is listed. Thanks Dick. I appreciate your input. It wasn't cheap (paid $999) but I figured I better get it since it was the first, and probably the last time, I would find one out in the "wild". It goes nicely with the Model 1896 rifle that I picked up earlier this year. :)
