Holy crap!!! Watched some YouTube videos of the vintage rifle/sniper matches at Camp Perry how the heck do you keep your target straight and not crossfire ??

Thanks-I was rather surprised considering the sight picture. The rifle has been consistently shooting about MOA at both 100 and 200 yards so now it comes down to the nut behind the butt

Took the Krag out to 300yds today. Only shot a 5rd group today-didnt want to ruin it with 10rds. Tried using a 6:00 hold as best as I could see-I dont have a regulation 300yd target and my spotting scope could see the holes without a shoot and see target. 168gr Hornadys 36.5grs 4895 shot off a front...

Great info/pics thanks! Bare with me a bit if you would as I try to educate myself. Correct me if Iam wrong-my understanding is all real carbines are within a known serial number range? 1899 Carbines are foolproof and arent faked? Carbine sights will have a C on them but they have been faked

So the little bit I think I know if theres no paper work on a cut down carbine its a cut down carbine...whats the ballpark value on a good example of a cut down with a clean bore
