Re: Factory loaded ammunition
During the "Insurrection" in the Philippines, it was found that some Filipino combatants 'reloaded' the spent primers, in .43 Spanish brass. They removed the primer cup and filled it with shaved match-head material. I don't know if they bothered removing the 'dent' before filling and repl...

Re: Factory loaded ammunition
Fortunately, I have tons of Brass... and I've been working through the same few hundred rounds worth in rotation for many years now (neck sizing and annealling is your ticket to Krag brass longevity, my friends). Its bullets that have me weak in the knees... FWIW, if I see any CCI #34s at Perry this...

Re: Hornaday Interlock 220 grain bullet Sale
Since I shoot Hornady 220s in my Match load for my Krag... I'm always on the hunt for bullets! FWIW, Hornady used to make a FMJ 220 gr RN bullet, and I was given a box of these around 15 years ago. They were hands-down the most accurate bullet I ever shot in my Krag! I wish Hornady would make these ...

My son and I shot in the Long Range Match at Camp Perry back in 2019. We shot at 1000 yards with my 1903A3 and did well enough to be encouraging... however, long distance shooting is definitaly NOT for the faint of heart... especially since we were shooting a military rifle with iron sights against ...

Re: Some awesome photos ...
Totally awesome photos! It's always amazing to me just how BIG bald eagles really are! I was a the US Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground about 12 years ago for work, and the place is full of eagles. I actually saw a pair by the side of one of the test roads eating road kill, and they stood nearly 4 foot...

There's a guy named Scott who has a You Tube channel called Kentucky Ballistics. Pretty entertaining stuff... mostly hilarious! However, as much as he clowns around... in reality, he's always very safe and plans his videos very carefully. A couple years ago, he had a 50 caliber detonate and nearly l...
