Re: M1 Garand with CASM scope mount
I thought it was mounting to the barrel on the front of the rail. I see it is mounting on the receiver now. Interesting set up. If you have not reattached it yet how about a photo of the receiver where the front of the rail attaches. I would have guessed there was a tapped hole for a screw there. I ...

Re: M1 Garand with CASM scope mount
Might as well get both ends of the rail. Looking for the attachment to the barrel and receiver in back.
Saber tooth squirrel, sounds dangerous, are you sure you have enough gun?

Re: M1 Garand with CASM scope mount
At first the eyepiece on the scope looked too far back. I glanced at my scoped 1917 Enfield and the relationship of the back of the scope to the trigger is similar. So it may be in a good place as is. You can slide it up about 2 inches if it works better so you are covered. If you get a chance, I wo...

Whig. I gotta ask has anyone accused you of being artistic?
Not sure if I have seen other presentations like that or not. If there have been other artistic presentations here on KCA, yours will rank pretty high on the list.

Re: Fred's Karma
Old Soldier's idea of mines sounds better all the time. Remote control detonate them after the cell phone confirmation of the correct animals. This neighbor has done the Jager Pro traps that remotely drop the gates after cellular confirmation. He has set it up and used it on another property, and th...

Re: Fred's Karma
Br, Being surrounded by two herds of pigs on your neighbor's place is quite unnerving even if you have a 1917 Enfield with a full magazine and a pistol on your hip with all the chambers loaded with heavy pig loads. Even scarier yet when you look through your scope and it is all fogged up. Its eleven...

Re: Krag Palma Barrel?
I forgot the previous discussion of Palma 1903. This link has photos of the Pope barrels. The fact that they were Pope barrels was not hidden. http://kragcollectorsassociation.com/viewtopic.php?p=46508#p46508 Looking back over Oney's original post he may be trying to get more info to have his friend...
