I have one on my krag sporter. I like it. It locks on place well. It is important to have the correct screw. It is longer than the regular one. They are hard to find.

American ninja warrior season 1 (with music!)
<r>Another neat postcard from the Mexican revolution era. Looks like Texas or Arizona. My dad bought me and my brother a set of these sword practice outfits in the 1960's from a surplus store by us. We had a lot of fun hacking away at each other with them! Too bad they are long gone now. Dad would p...

Re: War Department Abandons Clip Development
I remember reading that after the battle of Gettysburg many double and triple charged rifles were found. One had six loads in it. I guess with all the noise from cannon and rifle fire it was easy to think you fired your rifle and reload it. I have never found a loaded muzzle loader but have heard it...

Re: 30-40 Krag ammo shortage
I think the postcard might be misnamed. If you Google pascual oroxco he looks a lot like the postcard photo. He was involved for years in the Mexican revolution and eventually killed by the Texas rangers.

Re: 30-40 Krag ammo shortage
I picked three old post cards at an estate sale. None are filled out so kind of hard to date them. I think they are from the Mexican revolution in the early teens. I am going back tommorow to dig around for some more of them.

30-40 Krag ammo shortage
<r>I was wondering why my local gun store was out of 30-40 Krag ammo. Turns out this guy bought it all for his 1895 whinnie! <IMG src="https://kragcollectorsassociation.org/kca/phpBB3/images/yabbfiles/Attachments/20191025_142259.gif"><s>[img]</s><URL url="https://kragcollectorsassociation.org/kca/ph...

Question on 1902 sight
<r>Hello to the forum: Over the weekend I purchased a box lot of Krag parts. There were a bunch of sights included. My question is about the middle sight in the photo. I think it has an 1898 sight base. Was this an issue item? Or was it something someone made up? Its base height is in between a carb...

Re: Thoughts on my Krag
Nicely said "Butlers rangers". At best an srs hit is only part of the history of a Krag rifle or carbine. I enjoy my small group of Krags for what they are now. I am sure each one would have quite the story to tell. It's nice to know part of the history of a Krag but just as nice to imagin...
