For that sight try leeshop@starband.net. He has such stuff. He is mostly a Winchester guy, but has much good stuff.

That is a fine looking rifle. I'd say you are about right on the price. I hope that you can get it for that.

Lots of 98's were made with 96 sights.

If the rifle is straight military, you may have a proublem. If your rifle has been sporterized,you may screw the barrel in more to fix the head spacing.
