Pretty amazing that the last shot fired with that cracked bolt did not snap the lug completely off. Krag tough I suppose.

So, my front sight height is .630 from the top of the barrel to the top of the sight. Looks to be in the range and not way out.

Well, that version of it on the plane, set like a square not a diamond, is an ancient symbol that means the sun moving through the sky. Makes sense on an airplane.
