Bad chamber. Corrosive priming. Poor care. Rarely, if ever cleaned. I have a Turk Forestry carbine that was well cared for, a lot of fun to shoot.

It's relatively available where I am (NorCal), but it's running close to 40 bucks a box. If you don't reload, buy it when/where ever you can. Save your fired brass, consider it an investment.

If you hate the rifle so much, why are you even messing with it? Sell it to someone who will appreciate it for what it is and buy something that turns your crank.
