Your eyes will see well enough, the targets are sized so the black center looks the same size at all ranges. Most .308, and 30-06 match shooters switch from 168 gr, to 175 gr. beyond 600 yards.

I bought a similar device at a PA gun show, it does a good job of clearly showing the entire bore, in clear focus. A very useful tool to add to your tool box.

Prices seem to be all over the range, but an average looks to be around $700.00. I paid $450.00 for mine, diligent research, may produce a bargain.

Kinda looks like a ground hog which runs around the shooting range I go to. Several shooters have missed it.
