He’s had some interesting stuff recently but the “don’t ask for more pictures” keeps me shying away.

Re: Real ‘98 carbine?

Yeah, it would’ve been a leap of faith but...mmm I had a feeling about that one. Did email the seller about the sight and serial, but it went too fast. Re: My first US Krag, an 1899 Carbine

Looks as though it *should* be square, although maybe a trick of the light is making the ladder appear chipped. https://i.imgur.com/EijAXBVh.jpg Incidentally, Mr. Hosmer, wanted to make sure you had received my thanks for your help over on another forum - I think I sent you a message after your grac...

Re: 1901 handguard with 1902 sight?

1901 handguard with 1902 sight?

Gentlemen,

I have recently noticed a couple of Krags which appear to have mismatched handguards and sights. Rifle is back up for sale, higher starting bid but lower buy now price than the original sale.

Appears the buyer followed through with his determination to back out.

Re: 1892/1896 modified serial 23624

Nice job on 7336. If you dont mind indulging my curiosity, is the seller going to ship it to you directly? I was tempted to throw in a bid but what with the viral craziness and general uncertainty of the day, the verbiage on the add made me decide a potential struggle over the shipment wasnt worth t...
