Welcome to the KCA. From the pics shown it looks like you have a nice 1899 Krag carbine. One thing that is not original to your carbine is the front sight blade. Probably changed to work with the ammo used with it. How is the bore? Cleaning rod and oiler in but trap by any chance? Good luck with you...

Thats a nice looking trio. Its a shame that were i live a M-1 carbine is basically not legal to own anymore. Maybe after relocating i will look into getting one.

I remember exchanging light bulbs. That reminded me of going to the rexall drug store with dad with a bag of vacumn tubes and a little while later we could watch "wanted dead or alive" again. Times were a lot simpler back then.
