Just found this crack.

One issue with this sporterized stock is they didnt put a barrel band on the front so the stock just kinda hangs off the barrel. Not sure what I'm gonna do to fix it yet. Guess you could call it a free floating barrel lol

Not sure what it means but I see distortion around the screw holes, to me that indicates a lot of buffing before the bluing job. Surprised to see the model and serial numbers so crisp. Maybe they concentrated on the screw holes to remove raised burrs and lightly buffed the model and serial numbers?...
