Please help id possible 'unmolested' krag.

Was looking for any info on what I think is a m1912 norwegen krag 6.5. All numbers match except the bolt . Is it common on these rifled and what would be a ball park estimate on this beautiful rifle. Thank you for any help

That would be a Model 1912/18 according to some Scandinavian collectors on another board. Model 1912 has the bayonet lug and just a small "band" near the muzzle and font sight very prone to stock breakage. Model 1912/16 has a separate reinforcing band around the stock and bayonet lug. Model 1912/18 has a one piece unit of barrel band and bayonet lug.
That rifle is in very nice condition, what is the bore like? The majority of these seem to have dark bores, but many seem to shoot well in spite of that.

Bore looks clean and clear visible rifling. I'll get some pics later. What do you think would be a fair price on a rifle like this.
