My de-sporterized carbine

In a previous post I attached photos of a sporterized 1896 Krag carbine I bought. You can go back a few topics and see those pics. I've finally finished everything I want to do and want to share the "after" pictures with you. The most difficult part was shortening and hand inletting the handguard to find over the receiver ring and under the 1896 carbine barrel band. Honestly, the project turned out far better than I ever expected. All that's left to do it fabricate a handguard spring clip and rivet it to the handguard. I made another post asking for pics of what the clip should look like. Here are the pics. Let me know what you think. -Thanks
