Awhile back i picked up a Colt 1902 revolver. I shot a couple powder puff reloads through it to check its function (and be able to say i shot one). It worked fine. Accuracy was about on par with my uberti 1873 colt clone in single action. However the double action pull was like locking a pair of vice grips on a 2x4. Not condusive to target work. I think B.R. is right about the front end of the pistol being from the original 1873 peacemaker. I also read that the 1902 was not as sturdy as the 1873. It is still a neat piece of U.S. military history.
