It seems like many of the rifles have had parts swapped over the years. Often bolts and especially extractors. But it could also be that some of Myszkowski's information is a bit off. It's a great source overall. Pretty much the best we have. There are a few things he mentions that really don't seem to line up when you compare a bunch of examples, though. I suspect the features in the navy block weren't quite as uniform as he says.

One way you can check if the two hole bolt is a sporter bolt is if it has a pin (or just the hole for one) in the spot I’m pointing to in the first picture. That’s for a two piece “pile driver” type firing pin setup that Winchester adopted for the sporters. The USN stuck with the older one piece firing pin, so their bolts don’t have that hole. Bottom picture shows each with the Navy one on top.
