I wasted time watching this video on 'Gunboards' today. (I found it rather wandering and pointless).

I did cringe when the shooter 'touched off' this shot.
In spite of his 'talon like grip' of the forearm, the gap between the top of the rifle butt-plate and his shoulder allows a rather spectacular jump of the rifle, upon firing.

I bet he had a nice bruise, later in the day!

I watched that video. If i was new to firearms i would think that mosin nagants were chambered in 30-40 Krag. Also the sks was chambered in 30-06. Sometimes the internet can be full of baloney. That video was produced by oskar mayer.
