Nice Parts

Post by butlersrangers »

I don't know why someone took a model 1896 Krag to pieces, but, I did score a cache of good model 1896 parts, quite cheap.

The 'Ebayer' was astute enough to combine shipping.

Dang, now another hunt for a stripped receiver!ImageImage

Matty- Many of us have worked with granpas gun parts on the internet to get what we need for our Krags. He's top shelf and extremely helpful.

Whig is correct.
'Grandpa's Gun Parts' has a package price for the oiler and three-section cleaning rod, that is carried in the Krag butt-trap.
He also has the butt-swivel and screws.

You can view his site by going to the section of this forum titled KCA Classifieds and searching around.

He also sells on ebay under the name 'movieman630'. He doesn't charge for shipping on ebay, so that route may be cheaper.
